The manual arrived on time and as advertised. Material and construction are of good quality. This manual provides general coverage for the overall series of the early Datsun Z cars, and is not to be confused with a factory shop manual for each specific year. It provides general information of the major systems, but not in depth detail of every system for every year. A handy reference manual for early Z car enthusiasts.
Pretty good book but should be more specific on location of parts and should have more pictures/diagrams. No substitute for the factory manual if you can find one of those.
An oldie but goody every classic Z owner should have in their garage or workshop. After a few years these books start to tell their own stories from the greasy paw marks and dog eared pages.
The Factory Service Manual will cover specific changes year-to-year, which on the Z are mainly wiring changes.For general maintenance, the Haynes manuals are better than Chilton, and will get you by.If you have to resurrect parts of the car, you really need the FSM.

Despite saying 280Z, it lacks the info for that model.
Far better condition than described. Very happy with this manual.
The book is well thought out and has helpful pictures on virtually every page. My one complaint is that even though it is for 240-280z cars, it does *not* include information for the engine on the 280z, the l28e.
