I got this book as a gift for a friend of mine who lives in Mexico. It looks to be a great beginners reading book to me. The words are simple and will hopefully be within the child's reading range. I got the English/Spanish translation because the child, who speaks Spanish as her first language, assures me that she wants to learn English right away. It looks as though it is precisely translated so the child can probably switch back and forth between English and Spanish esp if her mom is on hand to help her. The pictures are nice, in vivid colors with facial expressions so real we can easily imagine the emotions. Various races are portrayed. The story is amazingly accurate without being too in depth for a child. The book is 32 very short pages long. One of those pages explains Biblical concepts like Miracles and Heaven very understandably. I like this book and the others in the series seem just as nice.

Charming book. Our daughter is enjoying this series. Love that the text is printed in both English and Spanish.
The children were quiet and attentive. The pictures are engaging and the bilingual text helps those who want to learn a new language.
I picked up 10 of these bilingual bible story books and they have been a hit. Not only for the students in the class, but for the mom's that are sitting on the side. They can read the story with their child and understand the bible story together. Perfect for our 1st-3rd grade class. The pictures are not too cartoonish, yet they are fun and engaging.
I bought this book to learn spanish. I gave it to my niece after and she thoroughly enjoyed it. One can also learn the bible stories.
